Welcome!
I have written and developed the INFORMED ADOLESCENCE® curriculum to meet the need for factual information for middle-and-high-school students and parents, as well as for college students, that supports development of self awareness, healthy sexuality, relationship capacity, consent and boundary-setting, communication clarity, and community building. I teach these lessons in-person locally in SE Michigan and train teachers in the curriculum nationwide. I would love to help you bring INFORMED ADOLESCENCE to your community!

In-Person, On-Site Faculty Training
This is the ideal way to introduce INFORMED ADOLESCENCE® to your community - Heidi spends a week on your campus, teaching lessons to your Fifth through Eighth-Grade students, and works directly with your faculty who will carry these lessons forward. Monthly faculty support zoom sessions throughout the year are recommended.
There are multiple ways I can support you as you begin to implement the INFORMED ADOLESCENCE® curriculum in your community!
Remote Zoom-based training
If an in-person site visit is impractical, the next best option is for Heidi to provide multiple zoom-based trainings of your faculty before they begin to teach the curriculum to your students. Regular monthly faculty support zoom sessions throughout the year support your teachers as they continue to teach the material to your students.
Regional Trainings for Multiple Schools
A third option is that Heidi can provide an in-person training at one location for teachers from multiple schools. If this is at one of the schools, Heidi can provide the initial teaching of lessons for all teachers to observe. This has some cost benefits over the individualized in-person option. Monthly faculty support sessions are recommended and encouraged.
“I am so grateful for the comprehensive curriculum and the ease of the format. It has been so wonderful to deliver to the middle school grades and is resonating well with them. I can't imagine teaching this content without your book!!! I had zero parents opt out of the program and I only had one parent ask to review the curriculum prior to starting. Thank you again!!”
